1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, work email, company name, industry, team size, and role. When you use Posimap, we also collect:

• Content you upload (documents, links, audio, video) for the purpose of generating onboarding materials
• Employee learning data — quiz scores, chapter completion status, and XP earned
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session activity

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the Posimap service
• Generate AI-powered onboarding content from your uploaded materials
• Track employee learning progress and report it to company admins
• Send transactional emails such as account invitations and product updates
• Analyse how the platform is used so we can make it better

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Third-party services

Posimap uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Anthropic / Google Gemini — AI content generation
• Brevo — transactional email delivery
• Paystack — payment processing
• PostHog — product analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with access controlled by role-based permissions. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Only authorised Posimap team members can access your data, and only when necessary to provide support or investigate issues.

5. Employee data

When you invite employees to Posimap, we store their name, email address, and learning progress on your behalf. As the company admin, you are the data controller for your employees' data. Posimap acts as a data processor. Employees can request deletion of their account by contacting you or emailing us directly.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at hello@getposimap.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Posimap uses cookies only for authentication (to keep you logged in) and analytics (PostHog). We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. We will notify you of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
